Twitter  ISLAMABAD/ LAHORE Former  high minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday admitted investing  finances for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust( SKMT) in a private  casing  design, original media reported.   The disclosure came during the  hail of Rs10 billion  vilification case filed against Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. Imran Khan appeared in the court from his Lahore  hearthstone in Zaman Park via  videotape link.   

 The case was heard by fresh Sessions Judge Umeed Ali Baloch. Khawaja Asif and Imran’s  attorneys were also present during the  hail.   Asif’s  counsel Barrister Haider Rasul cross-questioned Imran through a  videotape link and asked the PTI  principal questions about the investment in a private  casing  design with SKMT  finances.   Imran admitted investing the  finances in the  design, saying that the SKMT board had told him about the investment. still, he said he can not flash back  the name of the  design now.   The  counsel asked whether he was informed by the board in jotting. Imran responded by saying that he can not flash back  it whether it was conveyed verbally or in jotting.   The deposed  high minister said that$ 3 million were deposited back by the board members and the matter had closed. Asif’s  counsel said that the matter didn't end there but rather it was only getting started.   “ When the  quantum was invested, the bone

             rate was Rs60 and when the  quantum was returned, the rate had reached Rs120, ” he contended.   Imran said that if the  counsel came straight to the point rather than asking ‘ useless questions ’,  also the matter could be resolved  snappily. Khawaja Asif’s  counsel said he can complete thecross-examination in just two hours during the coming  hail.   The former  high minister said that he'll inform about his vacuity for the coming  hail after looking at his schedule.   latterly, the court  suspended the case till  farther  hail.   Meanwhile, the PTI  president has started consultations for the distribution of party tickets for  querying the general  choices of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.   In this regard, former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser met Imran at Zaman Park and  bandied thepost-dissolution situation of  parochial assemblies and the action plan for distribution of tickets.   Directing the PTI  parochial organisations to go for shortlisting the  campaigners, Imran said “ I'll decide the tickets for the  forthcoming  choices myself, tickets will be given only to those workers who are sincere with PTI, and there will be no  concession on merit. ”
